Polling doesn’t determine voters’ opinions and their votes, it’s the voters’ opinions and votes that determine the polls. There’s no question this is too close to call and why both sides need to be concerned about voter turnout.

Professor Charles Franklin and Mike Gousha today revealed the results of a new Marquette University poll on the Wisconsin recall election, focusing on the governor’s race. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett leads Kathleen Falk by 17 points, but it’s a virtual dead heat between Gov. Scott Walker and Barrett. Each is up by a point when it comes to registered voters (Barrett) and likely voters (Walker).
